The airport handles more than 23 million passengers annually and manages flights to a total of some 130 worldwide locations. Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is sited around 8 km / 5 miles south of the city centre and next to Amager, Droger, Sovang and Tamby.

To cope with its large amount of regular traffic, the airport's amenities are modern, comfortable and considered to be among the best in the world. There are three terminals, which cater excellently for travellers' essential needs when they are waiting or arriving. In addition, Copenhagen Airport offers ample parking space around the terminal buildings, with nearly 7,000 spaces in total. Both Scandinavian Airlines and Sterling Airlines are well represented at this facility, while onsite accommodation is provided by the Hilton Copenhagen Airport and the Kobenhavns Lufthavns hotels.


Travel to and from Copenhagen Airport is made easy by the modern high-speed train that runs from Copenhagen Central to the airport station, located at Terminal 3. Taxi ranks are located outside terminals 1 and 3 and there are also a number of bus operators that travel to destinations further afield, including a night bus service that departs from Terminal 3.
